A bike or ebike theft is a horrible event to turn up to. Our team is here to recover your bike and get your life back to normal, as quickly and safely as possible.

We'll access your tracker

The first step is for our recovery specialists to access your tracker. If there are multiple trackers we combine the data from each and start using our experience to interpret the readings.

Contact the police

We'll contact the police and file the report on your behalf. We use our specialist knowledge to stay the right side of the law and ensure we can get the best response from the police if we need them.

Plan & execute the recovery

Depending on the plan you've purchased we'll either assist you remotely (BASIC plan) or we'll deploy our recovery agents to search for your bike on the ground (STANDARD/ADVANCED plan).

This is where our resourcefulness and expertise shines. Our specialist team and on-the-ground recovery agents coordinate and execute the recovery.

You and your bike are reunited

We keep you up to date throughout and, when we're successful, we courier your bike back to you at a time and date of your convenience.

If we can't recover

You can make a claim for your full bike value on our insurance. Plus, you'll get a refund of everything you've paid for BackPedal under our recovery guarantee (plan dependent).
